Project Description
New to FAST in 2022 was the Social Inclusion Service with the employment of a Social Inclusion Outreach Worker. This team increased in 2023 to include a second Social Inclusion Outreach Worker.
This service provides an integrated treatment pathways to recovery providing accessible service provision to Traveler, Roma and new communities in Finglas, Cabra and Blanchardstown providing a confidential and non judgmental service.
In 2022 we provided addiction support , family support, advocacy and mental health support for Travellers, Roma, Romanian, African, Slovakian, South American and Kuwaiti nationalities. We support people on a one to one basis, provide information and education in group settings within the Irish Prison Service.
