Amy has over 12 years’ experience working in the voluntary sector including youth work, community work and addiction treatment roles. Before joining FAST as CEO Amy was on the senior management team in Coolmine, one of Ireland’s leading national addiction rehabilitation providers, for 6 years and has held previous management and project worker roles since 2007. Amy was a voluntary sector representative on the South Inner City Local Drug and Alcohol Task Force and a European representative on the ECEtt Networks, a European training by travel exchange initiative for staff development and professional learning in the therapeutic community of communities. Amy has qualifications in Voluntary sector leadership & management and Addiction studies. Amy’s key skills and areas of interest include strategic planning, service development, reintegration, recovery support services, community development, employee training and development, quality standards, governance, research and communications.

Amy is a native of Laois but having worked in Dublin for many years has a keen understanding of the local and citywide issues related to problematic drug and alcohol use.  Amy is looking forward to engaging with all stakeholders of FAST, those who use the service, their families, service providers, and community groups in Finglas, public representatives, funders and friends of FAST.
